why this cause matters to the artist
"When I lived in Chicago, my friends used to say to me all the time: It's not that DEEP Dionna! I admit, I take things to heart; I can't easily let things go; I over-analyze; I get in my head. Every moment means something, every connection means more. And now, DIPR (deeper) is the name of my company lol" ~ Dionna PridGeon
A DEEPER quality means to have an individual movement perspective of your own, to offer 3 ideals: honesty, musicality & individuality. To move DEEPER means that you embrace "the PROCESS within the product." The process is the [in between] stage; It has importance. The [in between] stage is where the "blood, sweat & tears" come into play. (These 3 words make up the move🏾DIPR logo. . . in braille.) The process is unseen, it's the "the behind the scenes" ; The PROCESS is not about perfection.
Sharing art should be inviting, a space that is free from judgement, accepting of others, open to new ideas & exploration. To provide a supportive atmosphere where growth is found and human connections are encouraged. moveDIPR believes that vulnerability is power & human connections are real.
