"Fighting for a hopeful future for people diagnosed with lupus."
Joseph and Jan are currently attending their last semester at UIC. They have been singing and playing instruments at a very young age. For them, singing is a great outlet to express a deeper meaning that resonates with people - it's a language that anybody can relate to. They ultimately sing because it brings family, friends, and the people they are closest to together. We hope that one way or another, this event can inspire others to aspire to be someone else's inspiration.
why this cause matters to the artist
Joseph and Jan are both brothers of Theta Lambda Beta Fraternity Inc. They are proudly advocating for Lupus in hopes of spreading awareness and raising funds for the disease. Lupus is a chronic, autoimmune disorder that affects over 1.5 million Americans each year. The disease itself is a mystery, with no known cause or cure. With the support of the community, they hope they can contribute to helping millions of people who are suffering from this disease and are still in search for treatment and a cure. Through widespread awareness and donations, they believe that a hopeful future will soon be within reach.
