levi yutuc | intersection of art, culture + society
Levi Yutuc received his Bachelor of Arts from the University at Albany. Born in the Philippines and raised in Chicago, Levi’s work is driven by the cultural differences between the East and the West. He investigates the conflicting ideologies, depictions, and obsessions between them. As a result, his work is an introspection of personal experiences both cultural and social. Currently, he is exploring colorism and the significance of the color white in a cultural and social context using unconventional materials like correction fluid and correction tape. Levi has shown work in contemporary galleries in Chicago and upstate New York and was a recent finalist for the prestigious 2017 Luminarts Fellowship.
help levi support the community
We support local Fine Artists by giving them a platform for showcasing their artwork, bridging the gap between Fine + Performing Artistry, and create opportunities for each artist to give back to the community with their gifts + talents.
